GV, who played negative roles in several films, turned a director for a film titled ‘Hero’ with Nithin as hero. The film was produced by Manyam Ramesh on the banner of Manyam Entertainments. Though the debutant director gave an excellent characterization of the hero’s role in a stylish manner, the film failed to ring at the Box Office because the storyline of the film was pale and stale and has no much substance. It turned out to be big dud leaving the producer in penury.

Now, GV decided to test his luck once again with Srikanth as hero. Not only directing the movie ‘Ranga the Donga’, but he is also producing it in association with CR Manohar, who had produced Srikanth’s 100th film ‘Mahatma’.

Srikant faced a big flop with ‘Mahatma’ directed by Krishnavamsi, kept high hopes on ‘Ranga the Donga’.

Let us wait and watch whether the film would give a break to the director as well as the hero, by reaching the high hopes and expectations kept on it.
